Who is Pulling Joss’s Strings on General Hospital?

Joss was handed control of JJE based on the word of a man she barely knows, and somehow the WSB is perfectly happy about it. But what if neither Hudson nor the WSB is really in charge? Jerry Jacks could have a very interesting reason for putting his niece on the corporate throne.

Josslyn Jacks has never had to interview for a job on General Hospital. First, she was recruited to be a WSB agent, and now she’s been appointed CEO of her father’s company, Jasper Jacks Enterprises. Her life has been charmed. A little too charmed, for our taste. Who is really behind her speedy rise to the top?

Key Takeaways

  • Joss is the new CEO of JJE.
  • Hudson Parker’s job was to put her there.
  • A familiar face may be the power behind the throne.

Joss Gets Handed a Company Without Ever Hearing From Jax

Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) told Joss (Eden McCoy) that it was her father’s wish for his beloved daughter to take over his company while Jax went on a world cruise. No, don’t call him to double-check, take this total stranger’s word for it.

To explain why she was too busy to take a job she wasn’t even a little bit qualified for, Joss told Hudson that she had another job she wasn’t even a little bit qualified for: She’s a super important secret agent!

The WSB Wants Joss at JJE, but Someone Else May Be Calling the Shots

We know the WSB likes the idea of Joss running JJE, but, then again, we’ve lost track of what the WSB’s agenda is these days, too. We know the WSB thinks they’re in control of the situation. Still, we’re hoping — for the sake of a story that’s both compelling and actually makes sense — that someone else is actually moving all the chess pieces around the checkerboard that is Agent Josslyn Jacks.

Jerry Could Have a Very Good Reason to Put Joss in Charge

What if the true mastermind is Jack’s brother, Jerry? We know he escaped from prison in 2019 and has been living on the run ever since.

What if Jerry is bored and wants to come in from the cold? What if putting Joss on the corporate throne is step one in his plan to ruin the family company so much that Jerry can swoop in and take it from Joss… before she’s even realized what’s happened?
