Key Takeaways
- Jason and Valentin are both making major changes in their lives.
- Valentin asked Jason to get him back into ELQ.
- There is a world where Jason and Valentin could be working side by side.
Jason And Valentin: Turning Over A New Leaf
Jason (Steve Burton) came back from Jakarta a changed man. He quit his job with Sonny (Maurice Benard), is focusing on being a great dad, and is bonding with the Qs. This is a whole new Jason. He has even expressed interest in the family business.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) also wants to take a new path. He is leaving his WSB life and his crimes behind now that he is a free man. Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) will now live with her dad, and he would like to make a nice life for her. Valentin has also fallen for Carly (Laura Wright), and he will not risk their relationship. He is determined to become an upstanding citizen.
Jason And Valentin: Business Partners?
There has never been any love lost between Jason and Valentin. In fact, they pretty much hate each other. That is why it was a surprise when Valentin called a meeting between them.
He proposed that Jason help him get back into ELQ. He believes that his knowledge can turn the company around to the best it’s ever been. Initially, Jason scoffed at the idea, but then he began to listen. Sonny’s former hit man had been considering working for the family, so Valentin’s offer intrigued him slightly.
Even if Jason lends a hand, the Qs hate Valentin. He once stole ELQ right out from under them, so they would not be inclined to welcome him back. Ned (Wally Kurth) and Michael (Rory Gibson) will want to keep Valentin as far away as possible.
Then again, Carly will stand up for her boyfriend, and her opinion carries a lot of weight with both Jason and Michael. There is a world in which Jason and Valentin will be working side by side in a legitimate business. Things are certainly changing in Port Charles. Can you imagine them running ELQ?
