Willow Tait has gone out of her way to make sure her baby dies on General Hospital. Sure, she claimed not getting chemotherapy in the first trimester was a way to protect her. Somehow missing the teeny-tiny detail that if she dies, the unborn baby dies, too.
General Hospital Future
Now, she’s barely willing to accept a bone marrow transplant, because it might come from her biological mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), whom Willow hates. But since GH had made it clear everything will always work out for Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), no matter how many decisions and downright boneheaded moves they make, we have to assume that the baby will survive, in spite of all that. So what will they name the precious bundle of joy?
Willow Tait: The Other Mother
Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) adoptive mother only raised her in a cult and allowed Willow to be raped. That’s not nearly as bad as what Nina did. Which upset Willow and Michael by asking to see her grandson, Wiley. Which is why, to make a point, Willow will name her daughter Harmony.
Middle GH Ground
The only thing all Quartermaines ever agreed on was that Lila (Anna Lee) was the only family member worth anything. Various babies not even related to her, including Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) and Skye Quartermaine’s (Robin Christopher), were named after her. So why not Willow and Michael’s, whose great-granddaughter she will actually be? But only for a middle name, we suspect.

All Hail Sonny Corinthos
Michael is furious with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the moment. But that never lasts. To cement their inevitable reunion, he could name his daughter after Sonny’s mother, Adela. Or maybe something a bit more modern, like Addie. There’s also Sonny’s late sister, Courtney, Spencer’s mother, who could use a namesake, right?
Top of the General Hospital Heap
Michael and Willow are also not too thrilled with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at the moment. But things work out for Carly even more often than they do for Sonny and Michael. We predict that Michael and Willow will go from being furious at Carly for keeping the fact of Nina being Willow’s mother from her to being so grateful that Carly finally, generously shared the truth. If Willow deigns to accept Nina’s bone marrow donation, who wants to bet that Carly will come out as the hero? And the baby is named Caroline, in her honor?
