General Hospital‘s Willow has been seemingly after Chase for months. It may not be Chase she wants after all, but the life he has created for himself.

Key Takeaways

  • Willow ended things with Chase years ago.
  • Chase is now happily married with a baby.
  • Willow seems to want Chase back.
  • She may only want the life she could have had.

Chase Has It All

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) dumped Chase (Josh Swickard) years ago. The two had a happy relationship for a while, but that all changed when she fell for Michael (Rory Gibson).

Chase was devastated but picked up the pieces and moved on. He fell in love and married Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). They became the perfect happy couple, and now they have adopted Phoebe (Lucia & Luna Creighton). The two of them seem to be living happily ever after.

Chase is one of the only people in Port Charles who is kind to Willow, and she tends to lean on him. After all that she has done to mess up her life, the congresswoman may not necessarily want Chase for herself. Willow might wish that her life had turned out as happy as his did.

Willow Is A Mess

Hindsight is twenty-twenty, but Willow could have had it all, not once, but twice. She ended what could have been a happy relationship with Chase to be with Michael.

The congresswoman may tell herself otherwise, but she and Michael had a great marriage. He was supportive in everything that she did, took care of her when she was sick, and they had two beautiful children. His family adored her and treated her as one of their own.

She threw it all away for Drew (Cameron Mathison). She left Michael for his uncle and then allowed him to run her life into the ground. Now she is a disaster, and she may realize how wrong she was in letting Michael go.

It is easy to wish for Chase and Brook Lynn’s life. They have it all. Willow may be hanging all over Chase, not because she wants him, but because she lost out on the life he created with someone else. He symbolizes what could have been for her. What are your thoughts?
