It was hate at first sight for Serena on General Hospital. She disliked Jason before she met him, but many a soap love story has started exactly this way.

Key Takeaways

  • Serena blames Jason for Scott fleeing Port Charles.
  • Serena fell off the roof while checking on the falcons.
  • She may enlist Jason to help save the falcons.
  • This could be the very beginning of a romance.
  • Lucy may not approve.

Serena and…Jason?

Serena (Kelly Kruger) is the daughter of GH legacy character Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and his wife, Dominique (Shell Danielson). After Dominique died, Lucy (Lynn Herring) carried the pregnancy and, for all intents and purposes, is her mom. To Lucy’s delight, Serena has returned to Port Charles.

Jason (Steve Burton) answered the door when Serena came to meet with Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) for Deception business. When she realized who he was, she slammed her heel down on his foot. Serena had never met Jason, but already hated him. As she explained it, he ran her dad out of Port Charles. Jason, in his own Jason way, neither denied nor admitted the accusation.

Serena is an environmentalist, and was not happy when she heard that Tracy ordered Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) to get rid of the endangered falcons on the roof. She snuck up and somehow ended up dangling from above. Jason, of course, found her and will help her down.

These two just met, but this may be a chemistry test. Jason has ended things with Britt (Kelly Theibaud), and Serena is clearly single. He may help her with the bird situation, and sparks could fly.

Then There Is Lucy

Mama Lucy was trying to push her darling girl with the perfect Quartermaine catch, and it was not Jason. She was hoping that Michael (Rory Gibson) would fall for Serena. Lucy was once married to Alan (Stuart Damon), so why shouldn’t Serena be with his son?

Jason is a Quartermaine, but he was also Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) enforcer for years. This is probably not the guy she wants for her daughter, and we know what happens when Lucy starts scheming.

Do you think this is the start of a romance between Serena and Jason? How do you think Lucy will react?
