General Hospital‘s Britt came to work seemingly a whole new person after her night with Crackerjack. Her colleagues may begin to expect this new and improved version.
Key Takeaways
- A cheerful Britt came to work after her night with Crackerjack.
- The hospital staff was shocked, and it may have saved her job.
- Britt cannot keep up her happy attitude indefinitely.
- The expectations may be too high.
The New Britt
Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) relationship with the hospital staff was at rock bottom after the night at the Brown Dog. She had been on thin ice with many of the doctors and nurses before the staff get-together, but her behavior that night actually emptied the bar.
Being left alone turned out to be a stroke of good luck for Britt. She spent the night with a handsome stranger whom she named Crackerjack (Will Traval). She walked into GH the following morning with doughnuts and a brand new attitude.
Her timing could not have been better because Stella (Vernee Watson) was ready to escalate Britt’s situation to Human Resources.
New Expectations Of Britt
Stella, along with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner), could not believe their eyes. They expected an especially grouchy Britt to arrive for work because of the tumult of the prior evening. Instead, they got a Britt they had never seen before.
When Britt sat down with Stella, she acknowledged that her past behavior and how she treated people might have been her own fault. Stella was so shocked that she jokingly thought that Britt had been abducted by aliens.
Things are better for Britt at the hospital, but this may not last. Britt is Britt, after all. She may be happy at the moment, but she could not have completely changed overnight. The bar may have been set too high, and there will be huge disappointment even if she goes partially back to her old ways.
Do you think the old Britt will return? Will her job be in jeopardy once again?
