Just a few short months after their not-so-fairy-tale wedding where gunshots reigned supreme after the ceremony, the marriage of Julian and Alexis took a dark turn on General Hospital.
By summer, Julian (William deVry) had seemingly lost his mind and tried to kill Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with the dagger Helena used to kill her mother, seemingly to keep the information that he killed Carlos a secret.
And oh yeah, he found her wearing a wire trying to get him to confess to that crime and ordering the fatal hit on Duke the year before.
According to head writers Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman in the January 30 issue of Soaps In Depth, they knew they were taking a risk with this story, but they did it hoping for a big payoff. That payoff might come soon during February sweeps.
