Brytni Sarpy is excited for fans to witness her most gruesome acting skills when the talent who plays General Hospital’s Valerie Spencer goes from facing down PC’s bad guys to facing down the supernatural!
In Truth or Dare, out on Oct. 8, Sarpy portrays Maddie Sotarez, a young woman who is caught in in a very bad situation.
Her most recent project has the social media-driven soap star continuously keeping fans posted about the fresh event airing on Sunday evening.
Sarpy’s latest Instagram message inspires viewers to watch while hash-tagging a scary image of herself wielding a dagger aimed at a friend’s back with “besties who slay together”.
Sounds ominous but then it should do given that Truth or Dare has been likened to the bloody Saw franchise in its macabre way of getting its frightening point across.
The storyline? A group of college kids heads for a remote American town on Halloween weekend where this close crew has rented a haunted property. Upon arrival, the bunch gamely play time-honored Truth or Dare.
However, there’s a twist during this particular competition since this same game is said to be the reason behind the bloody deaths of seven tight-knit teenagers in decades past.
As the current game progresses, the dares become more and more dangerous and the truth gets so raw that it is enough to rip apart the very mates who have decided to play.
Indeed, consequences are said to be deadly meaning even if the player refuses the chosen command, he or she will be on course with a horrible fate. Talk about twisted.
Sarpy’s co-stars cast in SyFy’s Truth or Dare include Cassie Scerbo, Mason Dye, Harvey Guillen, Luke Baines, Ricardo Hoyos and Heather Langenkamp.
Truth or Dare airs on Syfi at 9 p.m., ET on Oct. 8.
