Season 3 of Stranger Things dropped on Netflix on Thursday, July 4, which means most people have probably already binged the entire season by now. But, if you haven’t, proceed with caution because this article is filled with SPOILERS — you’ve been warned!

All eight episodes of Stranger Things were filled with laughter, scary monsters, and a whole lot of ‘80s nostalgia, but they were also very emotional. Though there were so many amazing moments throughout the season, here are the eight best. See if our list matches with yours!

8. Mother-Daughter Talk
Karen (Cara Buono) and Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) haven’t always seen eye-to-eye, but they truly connected this season after Nancy was fired from her job. Karen encouraged her daughter to stand up to the misogynistic men in her office and finish her story. Not only did Karen surprise Nancy, but it inspired her — and us!

7. Hopper’s Lecture To Mike
Hopper (David Harbour) spent the first couple of episodes of Season 3 stressed out over all the time Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) are spending together. Hopper ended up losing it on Mike and yelling at him about staying away from his daughter. The moment was hilarious but also showed how much Hopper loves El.

6. Wake Up Little Suzie
Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) returned home from summer camp and revealed he had a girlfriend named Suzie. The only problem? She lived in Utah and wasn’t answering his walkie talkie calls.
