The Bachelor has been around for 23 seasons, The Bachelorette has been on-air for 15 seasons, and Bachelor in Paradise is heading into its sixth season, which means this franchise has had its fair share of failed relationships. But, among the breakups are a few couples who have been able to stand the test of time.

From one original Bachelorette couple to a couple of Bachelor couples, to even one Bachelor in Paradise marriage, here are the Top 5 Bachelor couples who have made it work despite all the obstacles.

Ryan and Trista Sutter: Ryan and Trista Sutter met and fell in love during the first ever season of The Bachelorette back in 2003. Trista ended up picking Ryan out of all the other men available and the two have been inseparable ever since.

They tied the knot in December 2003 on television. They currently live in Vail, Colorado with their two children — son Max and daughter Blakesley.

Sean and Catherine Lowe: Sean Lowe became The Bachelor in 2013 after placing third on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette. He quickly fell in love with contestant Catherine Giudici and proposed to her on the season finale. The couple got married in January 2014 in Santa Barbara, California.

They now reside in Dallas, Texas and have two children together — 2-year-old Samuel and 11-month-old Isaiah.

Jason and Molly Mesnick: Jason Mesnick became The Bachelor in 2009 after he finished as the runner-up on Season 4 of The Bachelorette. On his season of The Bachelor, Jason decided to propose to Melissa Rycroft.

However, on the After the Final Rose special — which airs after the finale — Jason decided to break up with Melissa in order to pursue a relationship with his runner-up, Molly.

Though their relationship started off rocky, Jason and Molly ended up getting engaged in October 2009 and tied the knot in February 2010. They now have one daughter together, 6-year-old Riley.

JP and Ashley Rosenbaum: Ashley Hebert (now Rosenbaum), became The Bachelorette in 2011 after competing on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor. She got engaged to JP Rosenbaum during the finale and they got married in 2012. The couple lives in Miami, Florida and they have two children together — son Ford and daughter Essex.

Tanner and Jade Tolbert: Tanner Tolbert competed on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette and Jade Roper was on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, but it didn’t work out for either of them. They then went on to Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 and fell in love.

They got engaged on the finale and ended up tying the knot in January 2016. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Emerson, in August 2017. They are also welcoming their second child, a son, this August.
