Jesse Metcalfe played young romantic leads on Passions as Miguel and on Dallas as Christopher. Alas, in real-life the actor has recently found himself single once more.

Jesse Metcalfe Breakup

Us Weekly is reporting that Metcalfe and his fiancée, Cara Santana, have split for good after a decade of being together. The news first broke on Us’ Hot Hollywood podcast, revealing that the pair were no longer living together.

A source told Us that Metcalfe did not cheat on Santana, but that he moved out of their joint residence in early January after attending The Art of Elysium’s 13th annual celebration.

Tongues started wagging that there was trouble in Paradise after Metcalfe was spotted out on the town with various women. The Daily Mail reported that the former Desperate Housewives actor was dining with model Livia Pillmann at Gracias Madre in West Hollywood. Additionally, he was spotted canoodling with an unidentified blonde woman while visiting Attic bar in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Engagement Ends

Us was also the first to report that Metcalfe proposed to Santana back in August 2016 when they were sailing on New York City’s Hudson River. While Santana had discussed wedding gowns and other plans for a ceremony in the past, talks dried up almost a year ago about specific plans to tie the knot.

Metcalfe is staying busy with acting. His upcoming credits include Steps, The Latin from Manhattan, Cover Me, Riddle with Deceit: A Martha’s Vineyard Mystery, and A Beautiful Place to Die: A Martha’s Vineyard Mystery. Meanwhile, Santana is also keeping occupied with work. Her upcoming projects include acting roles in Steps, Kurt, and Be the Light.

Metcalfe became a household name to soap fans when he made his daytime debut as Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald on Passions. He exited that role and then landed the part of John, Gabrielle’s (Eva Longoria) gardener. After that ended, he took on the legacy role of Christopher Ewing on the 2012 revival of Dallas.
