On March 22, Amanda Bynes became a free woman. Her conservatorship came to an end after nine years. The star has since been flooded with Hollywood deals. There is no word if she is taking anyone up on their offers.
Terrifying Moments
Miley Cyrus went through a terrifying ordeal this week. On March 23, the star was on a flight to Paraguay when the plane was struck by lightning and had to make an emergency landing. Luckily, everyone was okay.
Entertainment News: Illness and Injury
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was hospitalized after contracting an infection on March 18th. As of this publication, it is still unclear of his condition and whether or not he will soon return to duty.
Celebrity Scandals
Mariah Carey has filed suit against her brother to recoup court costs regarding the defamation case he filed last year. Morgan Carey says his sister’s allegations in her new book that he was violent are untrue. Mariah’s team says she’s telling the truth. So far, both cases are pending.
Justin Bieber rescinded his 20 million dollar lawsuit against two women accusing him of sexual assault. The woman came forward with their stories back in 2020 and was promptly hit with defamation suits. According to Page Six, Bieber claims he is innocent and simply wants to put this behind him.

Former U.S. Secretary of State, Madeline Albright died on March 23 at age 84. She made history as the first woman to sit in the powerful role and has paved the way for other women in politics ever since.
Hank Williams Jr. is in mourning this week after the death of his wife, Mary Jane Thomas. She passed away on Tuesday after suffering complications from a medical procedure.
Legendary Foo Fighters Drummer, Taylor Hawkins, died on March 25th at 50 years old. His death was announced by that band on their official Twitter account. Taylor’s cause of death at the time of publication is unknown.
