Entertainment News: Love and Family

Famed director James Gunn is ready to wed again. This weekend marked his engagement to actress Jennifer Holland (The Suicide Squad). The two shared their news on Instagram with a shot of the stunning engagement ring.

Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler had a rocky week. She filed for divorce on Monday, took it back on Tuesday, and filed again on Wednesday. As far as we know, the divorce is still with Hannah lodging accusations of infidelity.

Also seeking a divorce is Cheryl Burke. The Dancing With the Stars alum wants out of her marriage with Matthew Lawrence (Boy Meets World). The couple has been married for three years.

Abigail Breslin is engaged. She said yes to Ira Kunyansky. The couple announced their big news to the media on Wednesday.

ER Alums Anthony Edwards and Mare Winningham are married! The couple confirmed their elopement this week during an interview with Esquire magazine.

Justin Bieber canceled his Las Vegas tour date after testing positive for Covid 19. The music megastar is said to be okay but unable to continue the shows until he is out of quarantine.

Also postponing upcoming shows is John Mayer. He and band members tested positive for Covid, prompting them to halt his tour, for now.

Kim Kardashian has had enough of being legally tied to Kanye West. Her lawyers filed a 150-page petition to have the reality star declared legally single after a series of emotionally distressing events at the hands of her ex. Kanye continues to fight to prevent the divorce from happening.

There is bad and possibly good news for Stranger Things fans. Showrunners announced the Netflix Original will come to an end after Season Five. However, according to TV Line, producers are hiring at a spinoff.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

British musician and YouTube star, Jamal Edwards passed away this week at 31 years old. His mother, a TV host for UK’s daytime show Loose Women, confirmed his passing on Monday. Jamal died from an undisclosed illness.

America’s Got Talent alum, Jane Marczewski, lost her battle with cancer this week. Her family confirmed her death on social media on Monday. She was 31 years old.

Comedian Donny Davis was found dead on Tuesday in Las Vegas. Sources claim he died after a night of partying in sin city. An autopsy is being performed to confirm his cause of death.

Comedic magician Johnathan Szeles, aka The Amazing Johnathan, succumbed to congestive heart failure on Wednesday. The famed Las Vegas headliner was 63 years old.

The M * A * S * H family is in mourning this week after the death of Sally “Hot Lips Hullahan” Kellerman. The 84-year-old star passed after a long battle with dementia. She died on Thursday.
