Entertainment News: Love and Family

Paulina Gretzky, daughter of the iconic Canadian hockey player, Wayne Gretzky, was married on April 23rd. The actress and golfer Dustin Johnson tied the knot after an eight-year engagement. The couple’s three children were there to celebrate the big moment.

Tiger King star Joe Exotic is getting ready to be a husband again. This time, behind bars. The jailed reality TV personality and his betrothed order custom suits to the tune of $11.5k. They may be in prison but that doesn’t mean they can’t be fashionable.

The post-divorce drama between Ant Anstead and Christina Haack continued this week when he filed for full custody of their son. They were in court within days and Ant failed in his legal mission.

Also embroiled in child custody drama are Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis and he made it everyone’s business. He had Olivia served court papers while she was on stage at CinemaCon.

Entertainment News: Illness and Injury

Supernatural Star Jared Padalecki is recovering after a terrible accident. The news of his car crash came from Jensen Ackles at a fan event. Jared since took to Instagram to thank fans for their concern.

Cary Elwes was hospitalized after a rattlesnake bite this week. He was doing yard work at his home when the incident took place. The star was airlifted to UCLA quickly and is recovering well.

Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with Covid-19. He took ill this week prompting his wife to cut her talk show stint short to be by his side. So far, he is going well enough and his wife is hoping he recovers.

Also Covid positive is Tamron Hall. She is staying home and following all the CDC guidelines. There is no word on when she will return to her show as May Sweeps quickly approaches.

Little Women: Atlanta star Ms. Juicy Baby is in the hospital for an unknown condition. Her team has assured her fans that she is stabilized but remains in the ICU.

Celine Dion announced she is pushing back her European tour. The star opened up about her body not being ready and suffering from muscle spasms. She will not be performing until February at the earliest.

Kevin “Chopper” Barnes was arrested for sex trafficking. The Making the Band star is suspected of being part of a crime ring after trying to pimp out an undercover cop.

Mere weeks after dissolving her conservatorship, Amanda Bynes is in the news, and not in a good way. The starlet had the police at her house after an argument with her fiancé. They each allege the other is using drugs, however, days later recanted and the couple is still together.

An arrest warrant was issued for American Idol’s Laine Hardy on Thursday. He is accused of planting a listening device in a Louisiana University student’s home so he could overhear her conversations.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

The world of Country Music lost a legend today as sisters Wynonna and Ashley Judd announced the death of their beloved mother, Naomi, at age 76. Their statement read, according to People.com, “Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory.”

Actress Jossara Jinaro lost her battle with cancer on April 27, according to Deadline.com. The actress is best known for her performances as Rae on Passions, Rosa on The Young and the Restless, and Andrea on ER.

Former Today show anchor Jim Martz died on April 25th. The 82-year-old news personality became a household favorite for decades sitting alongside Barbara Walters in the 70s and then as an NBC correspondent.

April 28th marked the untimely death of Sam Bruce. The Ex-Miami Hurricane player was involved in a fatal car accident and passed away in the hospital on Thursday morning.
