Miley Cyrus is now officially Mrs. Miley Hemsworth!
The pop star married her longtime boyfriend Liam Hemsworth back in December and her hubby just revealed that she actually decided to take his name.
While on Live With Kelly and Ryan on Friday, February 8, the Hunger Games actor shared Miley’s new name.
“Miley Ray Hemsworth now, actually,” the 29-year-old said when Kelly shared he had just gotten married to Miley.
However, despite taking his name, she’ll always be known as a Cyrus.
“She will still be known as Miley Cyrus but she took my name, which is great. I think that was one of the best things about it.”
He added, “I didn’t ask her to take my name and she was like of course I’m taking your name. I’m like, ‘That’s awesome, that’s really good.'”

As for their wedding, which was held at Miley’s parents home in Nashville, the couple always knew they wanted a small event.
“We never wanted to do anything too extravagant or big. We know how we feel about each other but we just wanted to do something simple, organic, and just basically immediate family. It was a really nice day,” he shared.
“It’s become a little bit more normal but the first couple of weeks — it’s only been a month and a half or something — but the first couple of weeks was really fun to be wife and husband. I just have her in as Wife in my phone now.”
Meanwhile, Miley performed at the 2019 Grammys on Sunday night, but Liam, unfortunately, wasn’t able to attend because he wasn’t feeling well!
