The detectives on Law & Order: SVU focus on putting bad men and women in jail, but they often have to deal with defense lawyers in order to get what they want. Needless to say, some lawyers can be a real pain in their you-know-what.
In this deleted scene, Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Rafael Barba (Raúl Esparza) discuss a defense attorney while at dinner. “There’s a school of thought that says that the more entertaining lawyer wins a jury trial. Clowns are entertaining,” Barba says to Benson.
