Kellyanne Conway is not happy with the media for blinding believing Jussie Smollett following his claims he was a victim of a racist and homophobic hate crime.
President Donald Trump’s staffer appeared on CNN and slammed journalists for trusting Jussie’s story. Not to mention, she compared the Empire actor to former FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who was fired for leaking information to the media.
“Whether it’s Jussie Smollett or Andrew McCabe, the media just looks to imbue credibility onto people if they come bearing anti-Trump gifts. It has to stop,” she said.
Jussie is currently under fire after countless reports claim the actor set up the reported attack against him, which occurred in Chicago back in January.
According to CBS Chicago, two brothers — Ola and Abel Osundairo — were arrested last week as prime suspects in the case.
However, they were released just a few days later after they allegedly claimed they helped stage the attack along with Jussie.

They reportedly told authorities Jussie paid them each $3,500 to pour bleach on him and place a rope around his neck.
Jussie also said the attackers were wearing a MAGA hat and that they shouted racist and homophobic slurs at him.
If it turns out Jussie did lie about the attack, he could face up to three years in prison for falsifying a police report. Not to mention, his career would most likely be over for good.
Though his bosses over at FOX have stood by his side throughout most of the drama, it sounds like they are planning on cutting down his part in the last two episodes of Empire.
In fact, the cast is reportedly filming the show in Chicago this week, but Jussie’s been cut out of a musical number and a few other scenes and will only be needed on Friday. What’s being shot then are more like crowd scenes where he’s one of many.
