Jennifer Garner may be an A-list star who kicks butt in the films she appears in, but she’s only human after all! The actress shared a heartwarming video proving when it comes to watching movies, there’s one that makes her mushy!
Jennifer Garner Gets Weepy
The actress posted the video to Instagram on Thursday that shows her getting a little emotional during a Sound of Music sing-a-long of all things. The video, which is taken by one of Garner’s kids, shows the actress singing along to Do-Re-Mi and wiping away a few tears.
“When your kid catches you misty-eyed at the Sound of Music sing-a-long. #idontcare #fraulinejen #perfectnightperfectmovie,” she captioned the clip. Garner has three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck — 13-year-old daughter Violet, 10-year-old daughter Seraphina, and 7-year-old son Samuel.
Alias Connection Strong
In fact, Victor Garber — who played Garner’s father, Jack Bristow, on Alias for five seasons — recently opened up about the 47-year-old’s kids and how intelligent they already are.

“Those children are so daunting and intimidating. They are so smart that I feel unequal. They’re just beyond brilliant those kids,” he told Us Weekly earlier this week. And, though he played her father on TV, Garber explained Garner is more like a parent to him!
“She’s so smart and she takes care of me,” he shared. Garber also revealed he’s still friendly with Affleck, despite the fact he’s no longer married to Garner. “When I see him, I don’t see him all that much, but we are friends.”
Seal of Approval
Not to mention, Garber’s also met Garner’s current boyfriend, John Miller, who she started dating following her separation from Affleck. “He’s a great guy and they’re friends. Jen is great. I talked to her for an hour today. She’s doing really well. She’s really happy,” Garber revealed.
Garner and Affleck, who got married in 2005, announced their split in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2018, but the former couple is still close and co-parent for the sake of their kids. In fact, they are frequently spotted attending church or sports events together.
