Well, this is certainly one way to get people’s attention! Jason Momoa shared a hilarious PSA, urging his fans to stop using plastic water bottles and it’s something you just have to see.
“Listen, it doesn’t matter how you hydrate, as long as you do it without using single-use plastic,” Momoa says in the clip while knocking plastic bottles out of people’s hands as he walks down the street.
The video, which he posted to his Instagram account, then cuts to Momoa in a bathtub icing his face after he’s clearly been hit by one of the people he’s knocked the bottle away from.
“There are so many sustainable alternatives you can reach for. For the ocean, for the planet, for the future generations that depend on it. Just please stop using single-use plastic water bottles.”

A native of Hawaii, Momoa also included a PSA of other actors and artists urging people to go plastic free in their everyday lives.
“Since we couldn’t be at the shoot this is my and @realdealmada contribution to the cause Mahalo @lonelywhale and everyone involved in this PSA,” Momoa captioned his post.
“Link to the full video in my stories let’s get rid of plastic bottles let’s clean up Mother Earth and most importantly let’s be the change for future generations to come. We all have to take responsibility because the next generation depends on us Aloha.”
This comes just over a month after Momoa shaved off his iconic beard in order to bring awareness to the damage plastic is doing to our planet.
