Former Bachelor Ben Higgins recently went public with his new girlfriend, Jessica Clarke, but he’s already thinking about a potential engagement! Though Higgins broke off his engagement from ex-fiancée Lauren Bushnell two years ago, he is looking forward to getting down on one knee again.
“I would definitely be excited about that possibility when the time is right,” he recently spilled to Life & Style.
“It’s an exciting step in life.”
The 29-year-old had been dating Clarke for a few months before he shared a photo of the couple on Instagram.
“I’ve been selfishly keeping this girl to myself for too long! Hey friends meet @jessclarke_! I successfully slid into her Dm’s a few months ago. I took a risk and I am glad I did,” he shared.

He continued, “I got to spend some time with an incredible group of people from all over the USA on a @generous_coffee_ adventure. Life is good!”
Clarke also shared a photo with her new boyfriend and wrote the caption, “My secret boyfriend, Ben! He has one of the biggest hearts and kindest spirits, I got to share Honduras with him this past week and I’m excited for many more adventures!”
Higgins and Bushnell got engaged on The Bachelor finale in 2016, but they ended their relationship a little over a year later.
This is Higgins’ first public relationship since his engagement to Bushnell ended.
