One of the more terrifying scenes from Season 1 of The Handmaid’s Tale was when we saw a flashback scene of when June (Elisabeth Moss) and Luke’s (O.T. Fagbenle) daughter, Hannah, was almost stolen from the hospital after being delivered.

Because Luke and June had a daughter during a period of time in which not many people were able to have healthy children, somebody tried to take Hannah from the hospital so they could have a child of their own.
