Grey’s Anatomy spoilers for Thursday, October 12 reveal Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) is oddly “complacent” when it comes to this character’s need for the removal of a giant brain tumor.
That’s the word Scorsone uses to describe Amelia’s attitude about the scary situation in a show spoiler, according to her interview with TVLand.
The now sidelined head of neurosurgery at Grey Sloan must trust someone other than herself to perform this miracle.
That is the main issue in the Grey’s Anatomy episode called, ironically, “Ain’t That A Kick in the Head.” Other aspects of this complicated character’s fate lies in the fact that she has to wonder what taking away the tumor will do
Multiple sources, including ABC, say that after the operation Amelia will still maintain her erasable personality since “the tumor affected her decision-making…” and not who she really is.

So, that leaves this member of the talented Shepard family to deal with such fallout as her crazy-making marriage to Hunt (Kevin McKidd). The union has hit so many bumps that it may as well be on a collision course for a final crash and burn.
Meanwhile, in looking ahead to next week on Grey’s Anatomy, ABC revealed in a statement that the episode is entitled Danger Zone and that the hour-long program includes a 2007 flashback to Iraq.
The ABC statement says, “…the events leading up to Megan’s kidnapping are revealed [while] in the present day, Owen and Megan (Abigail Spencer) hash out old wounds.”
