Fran Drescher is back on our TV screens in NBC’s Indebted. Now, she’s indebted to her fans, who are reaching out to the beloved actress with support in light of a recent and heartbreaking loss.
Fran Drescher Reveals Huge Loss
The Nanny star’s beloved dog passed away. “My baby boy Samson died today,” Drescher posted on Instagram. “I’m broken…” In follow-up posts, she added: “The beds not the same w/o my boy. Oh how my heart breaks…😥😩💔”
Drescher’s fans had felt as if they’d gotten to know Samson personally as the sitcom star would often post photos of him on her social media account. “What a gift my boy is,” Drescher wrote of Samson in 2018. “Makes me laugh everyday.”
In 2017, Drescher had taken Samson with her on a trip noting that “Traveling w Samson makes every place feel like home!”
Drescher employed her previous Pomeranians on her acting projects. Chester Drescher made several appearances as C.C. Babcock’s dog on The Nanny, and he was also in the film Cadillac Man. He was born in 1981 and lived until 2000. Esther Drescher was on Happily Divorced. She got Samson right before Christmas of 2013.
