Former Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay found the love of her life on the hit ABC show, but she’s not super excited about the guy they’ve chosen as the next Bachelor.
While co-hosting The Morning Toast on Thursday, October 25, Rachel opened up about why she’s not a fan of Colton Underwood and even revealed she’s made amends with Vanessa Grimaldi!
Instead of seeing Colton as the next Bachelor, Rachel shared she wished producers would’ve chosen runner-up Blake Horstmann.
“I don’t like it. I really wanted it to be Blake. I’ve always been very vocal about that. I’m definitely not a big fan of Colton as The Bachelor,” she shared.
“I wanted Becca to pick him so badly.”
When rumors about Vanessa Grimaldi dating Jason Tartick came up, Rachel revealed she had made up with Nick Viall’s ex-fiancée recently.
For those who don’t know, Rachel and Vanessa did not like each other while they were filming Nick’s season of The Bachelor.
“They’d actually make a cute couple. We’ve made up. We had a full conversation, it was really, really good. I haven’t spoken about that,” Rachel said.

“I think that show can bring out the best and the worst in you and that’s kind of what we talked about.”
She continued, “She was coming off her breakup with Nick and I was moving on with Bachelorette. So now she’s in a good place and I am too, so we had a really nice, mature conversation.”
As for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Bryan Abasolo, the couple hasn’t set a wedding date just yet.
But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean he’s going anywhere!
“Here’s the good news, Bryan and I are legit. That’s not happening,” she said in regards to rumors about a breakup.
“He’s not going anywhere, we’re not stalling because we’re having problems. The one amazing thing in my life is Bryan, for sure. I just need to take time to plan the wedding.”
