Sophie Turner is best known for playing Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones for the past eight seasons, but there’s still a lot that people don’t know about the English actress. Not only is she wrapping up the final season of the show, but she is also gearing up for a big wedding to somebody very special. Here are five fast facts about Sophie Turner!
1. Dire wolf adoption
Turner actually decided to adopt the dog who played Sansa Stark’s direwolf during the first season of Game of Thrones! Fans were left heartbroken after Lady was sacrificed to appease Cersei, so it’s nice to hear Turner got to keep the real dog named Zunni.
2. Natural blonde
The 23-year-old has had to have red hair for her role as Sansa on Game of Thrones, but she’s also had to have red hair for her role in the X-Men movies. However, Turner herself is actually a natural blonde!

3. Mrs. Jonas
The actress started dating singer Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers back in 2016 and the couple got engaged in October 2017. Despite being young, Turner and Jonas are actually tying the knot this summer!
4. Twin
Turner has two older brothers, James and Will, but she was actually supposed to be a twin. Her twin sister sadly did not make it to full term when their mother was pregnant, according to an interview she gave in Marie Claire.
5. GOT MOH
A lot of Turner’s Game of Thrones co-stars are expected to be at her wedding this summer, but it sounds like one special cast member will be standing by her side. Maisie Williams, who plays her on-screen sister Arya Stark, will actually be her Maid of Honor!
