Before Rhonda Lyon (Kaitlin Doubleday) was killed off of Empire, she was nearly killed by Anika (Grace Byers) after she pushed her down the stairs. While the fall wasn’t fatal for Rhonda, it did end up killing her unborn child. However, Rhonda didn’t remember anything that happened that night, including who pushed her.
In this flashback video, Rhonda goes over to visit Anika — who is pregnant — and brings her a bunch of baby gifts. “Rhonda, thank you. Thank you for all this amazing stuff. And you and Andre, you’re so generous. Honestly, you did not have to do this,” Anika says.

But, while she’s there, Rhonda experiences something scary that makes her recall more from her scary fall and realizes she didn’t accidentally tumble — somebody pushed her. Watch the clip above to see how she reacts to the memory!
