Former Bachelor star, Arie Luyendyk Jr., didn’t necessarily have the easiest time back when he was the leading man, but the good news is he’s still close with a few of his exes.

In fact, the former race car driver, who is engaged to Lauren Burnham, joined in on his fiancée’s slumber party with a few ladies who were also on his season.

Though the whole thing could’ve — and probably should’ve — been extremely awkward, it seemed as if Arie still gets along with his former flings.

Sienne Flemming, Jacqueline Trumbull, Maquel Cooper, and Jenna Cooper were all in New York City to spend time with Lauren, who is getting married in January, but Arie decided to tag along.

Arie even shared videos of himself with all the gals to his Instagram and it looks like they were having a blast.

Arie and Lauren are tying the knot in Maui, Hawaii on January 12, which comes less than one year after they got engaged on national television.

In fact, the pair opened up about their special day while on The View a few months ago and revealed details about their wedding.

“We are very excited to tell you guys that we have booked a venue. We’re getting married in Hawaii on January 12th next year!” Lauren said.

“It’s in Maui — it’s at Haiku Mill which has this beautiful, old world feel with a lot of vines and greenery. It’s not your typical beach wedding. And it’s a private wedding, so not on TV — just a close group of friends. Probably 100 guests,” Arie added.

Lauren continued, “We’re just really happy with each other and we vibe well together. We’re best friends, so we’re just ready for that next step.”

As many fans will remember, Arie first proposed to Becca Kufrin, but he changed his mind and decided to give things another shot with Lauren.

Though he’s not proud of breaking up with Becca to get back together with Lauren, he knows it’s what he had to do to be with the love of his life.

“I think going back to that time, it was a big risk to do what I did and I know that it wasn’t a popular decision,” Arie said.

“But it was a decision I had to make for myself. … I knew that Lauren was the person I was supposed to be with. I never watched the finale, so we don’t really know how that breakup looked on TV. But breakups are hard, and I think that everyone handles it in a different way.”

He continued, “They say it was unedited, but it was edited. You’re not in control of the editing room and you can’t really control what they show.”
