Former Bachelorette star Dean Unglert has dated his fair share of Bachelor Nation contestants, but he’s trying to avoid getting in another for the time being.
The 27-year-old opened up about his dating life to Us Weekly on Thursday, October 25.
“I think that I’ll stay away from the Bachelor Nation relationships for as long as I can. There’s so much pressure,” he explained.
Dean was on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette and then went on Bachelor in Paradise, which is where he entered a complicated love triangle with Kristina Schulman and Danielle Lombard.
Following his time on Bachelor in Paradise, Dean was a contestant on Bachelor Winter Games, which is where he met Lesley Murphy.
The pair began dating on the show and continued their relationship off the show, but the romance fizzled after a few months together.
“I do bad enough in relationships without pressure, so when there’s pressure on them I do even worse,” Dean shared.

“Yeah, my last few relationships haven’t been so great because it’s like, everyone’s expecting so many things and then you like, try and hang onto those things because people want them for you and you want them for yourself.”
And, though he’s been on dating apps before, he’s not looking to find love online currently.
“No, I’m not [on one.] But I have been told that they can be pretty successful,” he said.
“Before the show I was on a couple, and I would message people through that, but now I just want it to happen more naturally I think.”
He continued, “Or just be single forever. Why not? There’s nothing wrong with that either.”
