Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe’s breakup has proved to be much harder than expected.
As many fans know, the 33-year-old split from ex-fiancé Shawn Booth last month.
While moving on from Shawn has been difficult, it seems as though Kaitlyn is having an even harder time being apart from his dog, Tucker.
In fact, Kaitlyn wished Shawn’s sweet dog a happy birthday on Instagram this past Wednesday.
The former Bachelorette took to Instagram on Wednesday, December 19, to celebrate the 11th birthday of Booth’s beloved dog, Tucker.
“11 years young. You will live forever in my heart noodle. #IMissYou #HappyBirthdayDoodle,” she wrote.
“I shouldn’t have to write this, but please don’t go attacking me or other people, thinking you know the situation.”
She continued, “I’m just posting a sweet picture of a dog I love. That’s it. No need to be upset at anyone.”

Following the breakup, Kaitlyn revealed how hard it’ll be to not see Tucker everyday.
“I knew this part was going to going to be hard,” she said.
“Because, knowing Tucker isn’t — I mean this is all hard — but I think I’ve been grieving this for a while and just knowing that Tucker isn’t in my home anymore.”
She continued, “I will see Tucker still. There’s no way I could not. And I will cherish every second with that dog, so, you will still see him on my social media.”
Shawn and Kaitlyn announced their split in November.
“After three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways. This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration,” they said in a statement.
“Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends. We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways.”
The statement continued, “Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you, but we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time.”
