From one Bachelor to another, Nick Viall has got Colton Underwood’s back.
Nick, who was the season 21 leading man, is dishing on the current season of The Bachelor and sympathizing with the 27-year-old’s struggles.
Though they haven’t aired the episode just yet, fans are dying to see when Colton jumps the fence and decides to quit the show.
While it doesn’t last long — Colton obviously comes back and finishes the show — Nick just revealed it would’ve been possible for him to actually quit!
“It’s possible Colton could have quit. [But] in my mind, you did sign up for this. You gotta see it through,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
Nick made it through his season unscathed and got engaged to ex-fiancée Vanessa Grimaldi, but there were times when he wanted to throw in the towel.
“There were certainly moments where I wanted to [quit]. It’s a stressful situation. The producers can select 30 amazing women or 30 amazing men, and they might not be your person,” he said.

“That’s the stresses of being the lead, the pressures of the expectation. … What if my person’s not in this group? It’s a truly terrifying situation at times.”
He added, “They are your friends and family. They’re trying to work with you… you can’t take a day off.”
Nick and Vanessa tried to make their relationship work for a few months, but they ended up calling it quits back in August 2017.
Though Vanessa has moved on with another boyfriend, Nick is still single and looking to find his future wife.
Are you looking forward to the episode where Colton “quits?” It’ll probably be full of interesting drama, that’s for sure!
