Former Bachelor star Ben Higgins couldn’t be happier with his new girlfriend, Jessica Clarke. Though they have kept their relationship under wraps for a few months, the reality star is finally opening up about their first kiss!
In fact, Clarke was a guest this week on Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti’s Almost Famous podcast, where they decided to talk about when they first met.
Clarke revealed Higgins tried to kiss her the very first time they met.
“I think I walked outside and just laid it, yeah. I think it was, wasn’t it romantic?” Higgins asked.
“Yeah, I mean, I thought it was romantic. And then you just kissed me, so I didn’t have to do either of them,” Clarke said.
Higgins first went public with his relationship on Instagram last week.

“I’ve been selfishly keeping this girl to myself for too long! Hey friends meet @jessclarke_! I successfully slid into her Dm’s a few months ago,” he captioned the photo.
“I took a risk and I am glad I did. She is someone special, and I look forward to where life is going to take us. Stay tuned for the journey.”
He continued, “In addition, this picture was taken this week in Honduras. I got to spend some time with an incredible group of people from all over the USA on a @generous_coffee_ adventure. Life is good!”
Clarke also posted a photo of the pair with the caption, “My secret boyfriend, Ben! He has one of the biggest hearts and kindest spirits, I got to share Honduras with him this past week and I’m excited for many more adventures!”
Though Higgins lives in Denver and Clarke lives in Nashville, they find ways to make their relationship work!
