Former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. wants Jef Holm to pay up!
Jef, who competed on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette with Arie back in 2012, took to Twitter a year ago to say the 37-year-old wouldn’t last a year with a woman from his season.
“Doesn’t matter who gets out of the limo…I’ll give 5k to the charity of @chrisbharrison’s choice if @ariejr lasts 1 year with anyone,” Jef tweeted at the time.
Well, Arie wants Jef to put his money where his mouth is because he just celebrated one year together with his fiancée Lauren Burnham.
“Pay up @jefholm… Put that trust fund money into something positive instead of bottle service. A——,” he tweeted on Wednesday, January 2.
Not only are Arie and Lauren still together, they are getting married in less than two weeks and they’re expecting their first child!
Jef and Arie both made it to Emily’s final two on The Bachelorette, but she ultimately decided to go with Jef.

The couple broke off their engagement a few months later, but Jef and Arie maintained a friendship that lasted until about five years ago.
Arie opened up about their feud to Access Hollywood and revealed he doesn’t know what Jef has against him.
“I have no clue. That’s kind of a question for him more than me,” Arie shared.
“I have so much to concentrate on with this and I’m just trying to stay positive. I’m just concentrating on me.”
Arie also discussed their feud to People and said they hadn’t talked in a long time.
“Jef and I, we were there in the end and we had … when he split with Emily, we had that common ground. I think we just … I don’t think he was the same person I thought he was when we were doing the show,” he said.
“Then outside of the show, we just hadn’t talked in years. So it’s kind of surprising that he would say something negative.”
