After losing her baby on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Lani’s heart has shattered. Will JJ be there to pick up the pieces?
After all, these two were ready to raise the baby, get married, and live happily ever after before JJ (Casey Moss) learned that Lani (Sal Stowers) the baby was really Eli’s (Lamon Archey).
When Lani was in trouble with contractions, JJ had to be there with her every step of the way, which proved that he does still care about her.
But is that love? Should it be? It’s obvious that Lani’s heart is still with JJ. Things with Eli never went anywhere despite being expectant parents.
Once Lani is able to start healing, it’s a good bet it’s JJ she will want by her side. But do Soap Hub readers want that too? Here are those results.
Reunited And It Feels So Good
After almost 6,000 votes were tallied, 75% were all for a reunion between JJ and Lani. You know JJ was hurt when he learned the baby wasn’t his but he also understood the circumstances and his part in them. His heart has begun to mend from the pain, which means he’s open for it to start healing.

Lani and JJ can now heal together and find their way back to each other. JJ’s also hurting after the loss of the baby he thought was his, so he will understand Lani’s pain and be there for her in a way others can’t. While Eli could be there for her too, he’s not the man she wants.

No way say 25% of you. Too much has happened, and you can’t see this bringing the former couple closer together.
It’s going to be a long time before Lani is ready to let anyone in and meanwhile, Theresa (Jen Lilley) and JJ could grow closer since they’re living together. Now THAT is something you want to see.
