When Ciara came back to Salem it was clear that she’s very much her father’s daughter; a motorcyle-riding rebel who is a force to be reckoned with… but will there ever be a father/daughter reunion on Days of Our Lives?
Soap Hub caught up with Victoria Konefal (Ciara) on the red carpet at a Daytime Emmy nominee reception this week and checked in with the actress about her famous TV dad – Peter Reckell (ex-Bo) – whom she’s actually never met!

Reckell defined the bad boy rebel with a heroic heart of gold when he debuted on DAYS back in 1983. The writers retroactively established that Bo and Hope grew up next to each other so their memories of knowing one another goes back to childhood.
In the eyes of Hope’s dad Doug (Bill Hayes), Bo was bad news and he didn’t want his daughter hanging around him.
In fact, Doug got so worked up about Bo and Hope making love, he had a heart attack just as the couple was about to take that step.

Imagine if Reckell were to reprise Bo and he witnessed his daughter dating someone Bo didn’t approve of!
Of course, Bo would have to come back to life first. After an absence of a few years, he returned to the show in 2015 for the show’s 50th anniversary.
Bo saved Hope (Kristian Alfonso) from an evil Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) double but there was no happy ending for Bo and Hope as he soon succumbed to a fatal disease.
But this is DAYS were talking about! People come back from the dead all the time. Marlena, Roman, Hope, and, most recently, Will, have all been thought dead only to rejoin the land of the living.
If Reckell were to rejoin the show, Konefal would to explore the father/daughter dynamic. And Bo would be able to perhaps appreciate what Doug went through all those years ago!
