Claire has gone off the deep end on Days Of Our Lives. First, she tried to set Ciara (Victoria Konefal) on fire. Then she attempted to do the same with Haley (Thia Megia) and Tripp (Lucas Adams). Note the qualifiers: Tried. Attempted.
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) failed both times. What a loser — amirite? But, with a bit more practice, will Claire finally manage to kill somebody? What over 8,000 fans want to see happen:
Faster, Pussycat, Kill, Kill!
It was a real squeaker, but 51% of you believe in John’s (Drake Hogysten) Claire-Bear. Yes, she CAN kill someone someday! She’s just working her way up to it. Ciara was practice. Claire didn’t plan to do it, she felt an overwhelming urge to turn her aunt into a charcoal briquet.
Haley and Tripp were also spontaneous, but the anger had been building for weeks. How else are you supposed to react when your boyfriend up and marries a random girl in order to keep her in the country?
Next time, Claire will combine long-term anger with some short-term planning. You’re convinced that when Claire goes after Ciara again — especially when she learns Ciara and Tripp are “back together” – -she’ll finally get her arsonist, homicidal tendencies right!

Abstinence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder
Of course, an almost equal 49% of the audience are clinging to Claire’s inherent goodness. She’s Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn’s (Brandon Beemer) baby girl, for Pete’s sake! She’s not a cold-blooded killer!
She’s just high-strung. And distraught. And making some really, really bad decisions. But she’s not evil, and actually going through with killing someone would take her too far beyond the pale.
Who do you think Claire is? Abigail (Kate Mansi/Marci Miller)? Abigail can kill a man and frame Gabi (Camila Banus) for the crime, and still, everybody loves her. Claire doesn’t deserve the same courtesy.
