Recently on Days of Our Lives, Hope informed a surprise Ben that Ciara left Salem. We have yet to see the fallout from this — but we’re betting it’s not going to be pretty.
After all, Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) motivation to become a better man has stemmed from a desire to please Ciara (Victoria Konefal). He was making real strides but, in an effort to keep a job with Stefan (Tyler Christopher), he did some questionable things.
It was those things drove Ciara away. Well, that and teaming up with Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) to get Ciara and her previous boyfriend, Tripp (Lucas Adams), to break up. That was a big no-no in Ciara’s book and she was furious.
But in the end, it was thinking that Ben wouldn’t quit his job for her (even though she refused to ask him to do it), that seemed to shake her faith in him.
She wouldn’t even give him the chance to tell he actually did — but that it turned out he said it to Chad (Billy Flynn) and not Stefan.
In a bold move, Ben actually ended things but we’re guessing he was looking for Ciara to make up when he learned she left the country to visit her best friend and the guy she used to love, Theo.
Hearing that she’s with Theo will probably cause Ben to really freak out at some point — and that’s something that seems inevitable.
While Ciara is thinking about how she got to this place, we’re betting Ben will have a million horrible scenarios running through his head about what is going on with Ciara. It may bring back some of those demons he’s been trying to push down.
