Now that the young set that was recently marooned is back in Salem, will those characters on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) be forever changed after a night of Halo High? After all, drugs can wreak havoc on relationships — not to mention entirely re-setting a few.
The characters of Eli, Gabi, JJ, and Lani are all intertwined and have potential to become couples. Soap Hub asked which of configuration of these four you think would make a great couple and the answers may — or may not — surprise you!
Pros and Cons
Gabi (Camila Banus) and JJ’s pairing earned the highest score with 49%. But, it begs the follow up question — are you voting for Gabi to be with JJ or are they voting for her to be away from Chad?
Time will tell if Chad decides to be with Abby or Gabi. If he choses the mother of his child, a Gabi/JJ pairing may be inevitable.
Letter of the Law
Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani came in next with 34% of your vote. Fans would love to see Lani be paired with a guy who will be loyal to her and not someone (sorry, JJ), who isn’t always truthful with the woman he loves.

Against Grandma’s Wishes
There’s a slight contingent, 10% to be exact, who would prefer to see Gabi with Eli. This pairing would certainly make holidays a bit uncomfortable since Eli’s grandmother, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), is no fan of Gabi’s — and who could blame her as Gabi was imprisoned for the murder of Nick Fallon, who was the son of Julie’s cousin Jessica!
Surprise Duo
Lani (Sal Stowers) and JJ also received some support with 7% of your votes. This couple has already connected in Miami (though JJ didn’t initially recall it — ouch!).
While the reveal that JJ and Lani had hooked up drove a wedge between JJ (Casey Moss) and Gabi, there are some of you who’d like to see if there’s something more than a one-night stand between these two.
All bets are off as to which pairings we can expect to see in the future now that the show has a new head writer (Ron Carlivati) whose material begins airing this week!
