It’s hard to remember there was a time when Steve and Kayla were a bit combative on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), but that was once the case… at least when Kayla tried to help a wounded Steve.
Steve (Stephen Nichols) hadn’t completely learned to trust anyone, but Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) wasn’t about to let him stand in the way of taking care of him.
She found him after he had been beaten up on the docks and could see that he needed treatment under his eyepatch. He resisted letting her touch or remove it, but she finally was able to do it and made for a real turning point with these two.
