Suffering the loss of a child is the worst feeling any mother can go through, and it changes them forever. You never want to outlive your children, but that’s just what Bo and Hope did on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
When Bo’s (Peter Reckell) teen daughter, Chelsea, accidentally ran down her half-brother, Zack, with her car, Hope thought surely he would be ok, despite his extensive injuries. She comforts her grown son, Shawn (Jason Cook), at the hospital as he questions God and their beliefs.
As Hope (Kristian Alfonso) explains God and his reasons, Lexi (Renee Jones) comes out and the look on her face says it all. Hope and Bo then know Zack is gone.
