Theresa Donovan had been a troubled young woman for some time, often having a problem with drugs, and it’s what brought her to Salem in the first place on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
After getting in legal trouble, she had to leave her home to start anew. But Theresa (Jen Lilley) squandered that second chance and almost died — and her family knew it was time that they step up and help her.
So her parents, Kimberly (Patsy Pease) and Shane (Charles Shaughnessy), returned to Salem to team up with the rest of the clan, which included Kim’s mother Caroline (Peggy McCay), her siblings Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Roman (Josh Taylor), and sister-in-law Hope (Kristian Alfonso), to stage an intervention.

Apparently, this wasn’t Theresa’s first rodeo and she was not happy to be ambushed by her family, especially since in her mind, she had turned things around. But no one believed her — because really — why should they? They’d heard it all before.
