Believe it or not, there was a time when Doug and Julie were apart on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), and Doug had to pull out all the stops to get his lady back!
To do it, Doug (Bill Hayes) had to pull a fast one on Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). He had a pal call her and say that he’d been a horrible accident.
Doug figured if there was even a shred of love left in his ex-wife for him, she’d drop everything and come running to him — which she did. But the ruse was over quickly and she felt like a fool.
