Veteran Soap Star Cady McClain Reminds Us All To Look Up

 Comments

It won’t be too long before Days of our Lives viewers will see veteran soap star Cady McClain take on the role of Jennifer Rose Horton. That is keeping the beloved actress busy these days but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t take time out of her hectic schedule to appreciate life — and she wants you to do the same.

Cady McClain Shows Gratitude

McClain, who was beloved for years as All My Children’s Dixie Cooney and as Rosanna Cabot on As the World Turns and briefly as Kelly on The Young and the Restless, certainly has a lot to be grateful for, and that includes a wonderful husband in General Hospital star Jon Lindstrom (Kevin/Ryan). She recently posted to Instagram a reminder we should all remember.

“When things get crazy out there I practice looking UP,” wrote the two-time Daytime Emmy winner. “Because there’s a lot to be grateful for, a lot to be hopeful about, a lot of people helping other people, and a lot of love and kindness going around.”

Considering the political climate of late, especially after the presidential debates, it’s not surprising that the actress was looking for something positive to keep her grounded. What better way than looking towards the sky?

“We can have different opinions about things and still talk to one another, find commonalities, and seek moments in life that we all can agree on that are special and worth working for – creating and loving your family, whether it’s your family of origin or your family of choice, a family full of kids or a family full of friends and crazy little animals like our family… it’s one of the best things in life.”

It’s a great reminder for us all during these tense times. She added, “Wishing you the love of family today and every day! #family #lookup” Viewers are about to see her get to know an entirely new family when she lands in Salem. No word on her first airdate but Soap Hub will keep you informed. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
