The latest development in the real-life split of fan-favorite couple Justin Hartley (This is Us) and Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan, Days of our Lives) has come to light. A new report is revealing what may be at the heart of the couple’s impending divorce.

TMZ reports that money is playing a key role in the separation. According to the gossip website, sources close to Chrishell say that she thinks the end of their marriage is related to finances.
Sources say that Stause is not in agreement with the date that Hartley listed as the couple’s separation — July 8, 2019. She feels that the two were together up until the day he filed, November 22, 2019.
In fact, the couple was seen at the Primetime Emmys together in September and on other occasions, too. Stause’s caption in the Instagram photo below of herself and Justin at the Emmys doesn’t indicate there was any disharmony. “Well #ThisIsUs didn’t take home the trophy but I am taking him home so looks like I am the big winner tonight!” she wrote in her post.

Chrishell Stause feels that pre-dating the day of their separation would benefit Justin (and not her) financially. Her attorney, Samantha Spector, is asking for Hartley to pay spousal support to her client.
