The time has come for Days of Our Lives (DOOL) viewers to say goodbye to two faves – albeit one is not for as long as you might think.
Back in September, Nadia Bjorlin gave birth to her second son, Viggo, and because DAYS shoots so far ahead, Chloe exiting Salem for Bjorlin’s maternity leave will hit the airwaves just this month. According to published reports, Chloe heads out of town on January 19.
But don’t worry that you’ll have to go months without seeing her. Bjorlin’s maternity leave was reportedly very short – only a few weeks. Prior to leaving, Chloe gets a surprise – her ex-husband, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) asks her out on a date!
Will this be a sign of things to come when she returns? Or will that spark that so many saw between her and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) finally get a chance to become a passionate flame? Guess we’ll find out when she returns during late February sweeps.

Unfortunately, the goodbye that happens when Theo takes off for South Africa on January 17 is a permanent one for actor Kyler Pettis, who first joined the show back in 2015.
While Theo is getting into a special trial for stem cell treatment to see if he’ll regain the use of his legs, there’s a chance the character will one day return, but chances are also pretty high that DAYS will use the opportunity to bring in a new actor for the role.
