It certainly sounds like Paul Telfer is bringing his character Xander back to Days of Our Lives.
The actor took to Twitter Friday (see below) to tease his character’s return to Salem with a clip of Keanu Reeves as John Wick saying, “Yeah, I’m thinking I’m back.” This could be good news for one character — Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), who finds himself in hot water and few people on his side.
Everyone else in Salem thinks Xander died when The Terrible Trio escaped from prison and terrorized the town. Only Deimos knows his nephew was spared and sent to work for the Kiriakis family back in Greece. Now that most of the town is out for blood, could Deimos think he needs someone to do his dirty work by his side?

Of course, this would be a huge gamble on his part considering that Xander did try to murder his beloved Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Deimos is already on the outs with her after order a hit on both Andre (Thaao Penghlis) and Dario (Jordi Vilasuso). She doesn’t even know yet that he’s kidnapped Chad (Billy Flynn) and Gabi (Camila Banus).
There is no official word yet about whether Telfer is indeed returning to the show, but his tweet sure makes it seem like he is. Soap Hub will stay on this and update as we learn more.
