Ted, played by Gilles Marini, has been on the Days Of Our Lives canvas for less than a year. He first debuted as Theresa’s (Jen Lilley) lawyer in her custody case against Brady (Eric Martsolf).
He was accused of being a dirty player when he dug up and exposed negative facts about Brady and his family — most of which were true — which led to Teresa winning sole custody of Tate and moving with him to California.
Later, Ted hooked up with Kate (Lauren Koslow). They had some good times and great sex. But, when Kate found out Ted was working with Leo (Greg Rikaart) to blackmail Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Chandler Massey), and that was the end of that.
Ted assumed Stefan (Tyler Christopher) was behind Ted’s kidnapping and imprisonment to a faraway island. It is a pretty DiMera thing to do. But Kate just recently confessed to Rafe (Galen Gering) that it was actually her. Ha-ha!
Most recently, Ted has been cozying up to Hope (Kristian Alfonso). She even supports his being named interim DA. But do you trust him? Here’s what almost 11,000 fans had to say:

Not a lot of thought was required for 97% of you to offer a near-unified, “No!” You trust Ted about as far as you can throw him. And he’s a big — albeit good-looking — liar. Is there any other kind in Salem?

Ted has never met a shortcut he doesn’t like, and you don’t like the idea of him taking one in Hope’s direction. Even if Rafe is working your last nerve these days.
Gimme a Break
Salem has forgiven worse people of worse things, 3% of the audience reminds. So why not give the guy a chance? He may surprise you — and Hope.
At which point, you know Kate will throw her hat back into that ring.
