On Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Belle’s just a big tease, that’s what she is. She keeps popping in and out, one minute she’s there, one minute she’s not. One minute it’s Shawn-Douglas (with his many faces), the next minute it’s Philip, and then she’s gone again.
Well, fans have had enough. They want Belle back in Salem, pronto. And almost 5,000 viewers know exactly why she should return, too.
The Needs Of the Many Outweigh the Needs of the One
Is Belle (Martha Madison) happy traveling around the world, being a high-powered lawyer, and a strong, independent woman?
Yeah, well, who cares if she is or she isn’t, when 75% of you think her family needs her. Belle’s place is back home, no matter how she may feel about it.
Let’s face it, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) is a mess. No, Belle, watching your daughter’s sex tape on the Internet does not count as parenting.
Plus, Marlena (Deidre Hall) keeps misplacing John (Drake Hogestyn), and even ended up stuck with John in a sanitarium. And, things aren’t going much better for Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Brady (Eric Martsolf).

Where the Action Is
For reasons nobody’s ever completely understood, an international criminal organization has its headquarters in a tiny Midwestern town (albeit one with an international airport that appears to specialize in faster than the speed of light travel).
So why, wonders 15% of the audience, is Belle dealing with DiMera affairs overseas, when their hub is in Salem?
Man Down
Only 8% of fans want Belle back in order to launch her on a new romance. Likely because the rest still believe she belongs with Shawn… or Phillip. Either way, any new guys sniffing around this hometown princess had better keep moving on elsewhere.
