It’s only been a mere week since Jen Lilley’s Theresa said her tearful goodbye to Salem, Brady, and Tate. Poor Brady is still devastated, but Theresa hoped when she left that she would one day be able to return to her family–and Days of Our Lives.
Actress Jen Lilley has been off the DAYS set since late spring, but it looks like she may miss it already. On Sunday night, she responded to a tweet regarding a Theresa recast that makes it sound like she’d be open to a Salem comeback sooner than later.
Lilley has definitely kept herself busy since leaving the soap. She is now the foster mother to a baby boy, as well as a little girl who just lost her first tooth on Thanksgiving (according to her social media accounts).

She’s also appeared on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy, and is now in Vancouver filming a new movie, but has not released the details yet.
In Vancouver & about to start a new movie. I’m super duper super super excited about this one. Did I mention I’m excited??? Details to come 🙂 ?????????? and the crew is AMAZING!!

As DAYS fans know, Theresa left town to protect Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Tate from a Mexican drug lord with whom she once had an affair. With the ISA on her side, she plans to infiltrate the drug ring along with her ISA agent dad, Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy).
Of the Kiriakis clan, only Victor (John Aniston) knows where she really is, as she made Brady believe she was back on drugs and grew weary of playing mom.
The soap definitely left the door open for Lilley’s return, but if she does decide to make her DAYS comeback, it will be ages until we see Theresa due to the show’s six-month taping lead time.
