On Days of Our Lives, Will has dug in his heels and decided to be a martyr – no matter what. Even though Will has regained his memories and remembered his love for Sonny, he’s determined to stand by Paul’s side.
Which is the least he can do, now that Paul (Christopher Sean) is paralyzed after falling out a window while saving Will’s (Chandler Massey) mom’s life. Even though Sami (Alison Sweeney) advised Will not to sacrifice his happiness. Do what you want and to hell with anyone else! It’s worked for Sami up to this point.
So, Sami aside, is Will doing the right thing by not confessing his true feelings to Paul? Here’s what people who aren’t Sami had to say.
Sweet and Sour
Will might think he’s being sweet, 72% of you suggest, but, in reality, he’s not doing Paul any favors. He is, in fact, lying to the man he professes to love – just not as much as he loves Sonny (Freddie Smith). When the truth ultimately comes out – and the truth always ultimately comes out – Paul is going to feel betrayed and like a fool.
He’s going to wonder if any of his happy memories with Will were real. Will is just delaying the inevitable. Every day he doesn’t come clean he’s only making the situation worse.

Stand By Your Man
You go, Will, 27% cheer. You’ve finally grown up from that whiny, selfish brat you used to be. You’re finally a responsible, mature, good man. You’re putting someone else’s needs ahead of your own – don’t listen to Sami, ever – and doing the right thing.
Paul needs your support and your love. He’s a professional athlete who may never walk again. That’s no small thing! His mom is invisible, his dad is too busy with his double Marlenas, you’re all Paul has!
