It’s been a year of ups and downs in Salem, but here are some of the worst stories and moments that happened on Days of Our Lives in 2018.
Worst Alter-Cation
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) had a crush on Abby (then Marci Miller) but she hated him…but her alter, Gabby, liked him.
Even though he knew she was mentally ill, Stefan still had sex with her. This was essentially rape, considering Abby’s body was used without her true consent.
Worst Doctor Move By A Non-Doctor
Leo (Greg Rikaart) tried to strangle Will (Chandler Massey) after he blew up his blackmail plot against Sonny (Freddie Smith), so Sonny threw Leo off him. Leo hit his head and was out cold.

Worst (Non) Use of A Great Character
After delivering Emmy-worthy performances as a depressed JJ (Casey Moss) considered committing suicide last year, DAYS rewarded the young actor’s incredibly moving and nuanced work by giving him nothing to do all year. Let’s hope this travesty will be fixed immediately.
Worst Return
It was heartbreaking when bitter Brady (Eric Martsolf) forced Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to break up with true love Eric (Greg Vaughan).
